We take your car’s usable battery size and the lower of the charger’s power and your car’s own limit (onboard AC charger or DC peak), then estimate the time for the charge window. DC rapid charging tapers above 80%, so we highlight the 10–80% figure for road trips and full 0–100% for overnight AC.
